Popular author, activist and former presidential aide Reno Omokri speaks that the tradition of a church wedding does not align with the belief of Christianity.

According to him, the idea is based on seeking the pastor’s blessing, which in fact is a disrespect to parents.

Reno Omkri further added that he disagrees with those that justify the necessity of church wedding.

“Church wedding is not Christian wedding. Some people say it is necessary because pastors are God’s representatives on Earth. My question is this: What are your parents? Devil’s representative? No blessing on Earth is greater than parental blessings,” he wrote.
